The Kempsey Cancerians Committee has been raising funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) for the last twenty four years.

Past President Helen Packwood, Alison Mavin and Brian and Kay Irvine and their long term sponsors have been supporting the committee since its inception.

This creative committee has produced an event that is the talk of Kempsey, their annual ball. Every year the ball has a different theme & the wonderful committee transform the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club into another world with handmade decorations & costumes.

Complete with a castle backdrop and Cinderella-esque ushers, more than 300 guests flurried into the fairytale-themed Kempsey Annual Ball this year to show their support for cancer sufferers and raise funds for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. An annual event in Kempsey since 1988, the spectacular ball is a product of the tireless work and careful planning by the Kempsey Cancerians Committee and their supporters. The night was a huge success, spirits were high, and there was no shortage of support for the cause.
