“Cancer is about statistics and research – but it’s also about somebody’s daughter or son who is sick and scared. No one should have to go through what my little girl went through.”
Deliver hope this festive season
BACK BRILLIANT CANCER RESEARCH TODAY

Thankfully, as devastating as Frankie’s diagnosis was, it at least came with hope. "They said Frankie’s type of cancer has a 90% survival rate. When it’s your little girl’s life on the line, nothing less than 100% is enough – but at least it gave us something to cling to. Not everyone has that.” – Elyse

Each person diagnosed with cancer is somebody’s loved one.

We’ve made significant progress in finding ways to prevent, detect, and treat many types of cancer.
But there are so many answers we still need to find before every person living with cancer has hope.
That’s why we must keep backing, brilliant, pioneering cancer research – and we can’t do that without your support.

ACRF Child Cancer Precision Medicine Centre
Established with the help of a $1.5 million grant from ACRF in 2014, this state-of-the-art facility is is now home to the Zero Childhood Cancer program (ZERO).
ZERO is the first Australian personalised medicine program to tackle the most serious cases of infant, childhood, and adolescent cancer.

ACRF Child Cancer Liquid Biopsy Program
An additional $3.5 million grant from ACRF in 2019 established this second, world-leading facility. Here, researchers are pioneering a targeted precision therapy that gives children access to less invasive, more effective therapies - with fewer of the side effects that can have such an enormous impact on quality of life during and long after treatment.

“Personalised medicine brings fresh hope to people with rare, aggressive, and high-risk cancers who do not yet have the treatment options that Frankie, thankfully, did have. This is exactly the kind of brilliant, pioneering research we love to back at ACRF. Please help to kickstart more crucial research this festive season.”
– Kerry Strydom, Chief Executive Officer, ACRF

“Please support cancer research with a gift today, to help make sure there will always be hope for my Frankie – and every other person living with this horrible disease. Thank you.”
